The Federation of Heavy Equipment Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal (FHEAN), under the leadership of President Mr. Umakant Sharma, submitted a memorandum to the Honorable Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Mr. Devendra Dahal, outlining the challenges faced by heavy equipment entrepreneurs across the country.
The Federation emphasized the sector’s contribution of 40,000+ equipment units, 150,000 direct jobs, 20,000 indirect jobs, and 15% of national revenue, stressing the urgent need for state support, protection, and policy reform.
